Other information

Below, delegates can find information about the University of St Andrews, the town of St Andrews, accommodation options and emergency procedures.

Car parking

There are several public car parks in St Andrews and limited on-street parking within walking distance of all venues. Limited car parking is available at the Gateway for delegates attending events.

Both David Russell Apartments and Agnes Blackadder Hall offer free car parking for guests. Parking permits are available from reception and should be displayed for the duration of your stay.

Food and drink

The University achieved Fairtrade university status in April 2006 and fair trade tea and coffee are served at all conferences.

The Accommodation, Conferences and Events team are happy to cater for most special diets. If you have special dietary requirements, please register your requirements at the registration page.

Accessibility

While most venues are easily accessible, there are a small number of historic venues that may not be suitable for individuals with restricted mobility. Please register for accessibility requirements at the registration page. For more details, please contact us.

Emergency procedures

All guests must make themselves aware of the fire procedure notices, which are located throughout the venues. These notices contain information on the actions to take in the event of discovering a fire or hearing the fire alarm, and detail the designated emergency assembly areas. Guests will be notified of any scheduled fire alarm tests.
