PopGroup 57 aims to promote diversity in our disciplinary fields. In line with this objective, there are a few available bursaries to financially support attendees to PopGrop in St. Andrews, Scotland from January 8th-10th 2024. Applicants should be Undergraduate, Masters or PhD students from minority groups that have been underrepresented and/or historically unacknowledged in the natural sciences (which include, but are not limited to, Black, Asian and/or other ethnic minorities, as well as LGBT+, people with disabilities and/or other disadvantaged groups).
Successful applications will receive £300 which could be used for registration fees, as well as travel and accommodation costs.
Please send an application, no longer than 150 words, that includes:
• Name, institution and career stage of the applicant
• An explanation of how attendance at the conference: 1) improves equal opportunities and 2) will further the applicant’s professional goals
